1. X-Y Plots

2. Graphs

The general equation for the distance that a free-falling body has travelled (neglecting air friction) is:

                              

Assuming that g=9.8m/s2. Plot distance versus time for t=0-100 seconds. Create three subplots, using linear coordinates, log-log coordinates and except a log scale is used for the Y-axis (using the command loglog and semilogy), respectively. Label the axes and give titles to the plots. Save the figure as JPEG file.
